When installing gen III SFB you need to notch the subframe. My question is if I do that will it affect installing ALSFB in the future if I decide to do that?

Its best to just grind the tab off the bushing. Do not trim SF as there is only a 10mm ring around that 52mm hole in the SF that is available to clamp the SF between the 2 halves of the SF bushings.

Ok...so I went to replace the bushings and when I got the old ones out there were already notches in the subframe that the new gen III bushings fit perfectly into! I know that the bushings were never done on this car. Whats up with that?

Most 94 and 95 subframes already had the notches in the subframe from the factory. Ford has probably redesigned Taurus subframe bushings more than any other single part on the car.

Cool! I don't wanna go to aluminium since there's rust at some spot and I do not trust metal to metal bushing for my daily driven 20k miles a year SHO.
