AACKK! Where can I find this bolt?!

To All

I'm in search for a Rod Shifter Linkage Stabilizer bar bolt. The one that bolts into the trans housing. It's a long bolt. I need it.. However, it's only offered with the Rod Shifter conversion kit, only. Nowhere else have I found the right size and grade bolt. Anyone have one or know of where I can get one?! Price isn't a problem, but time is!! TIA

Hey Fred

Well I tried boneyards.. All i bump into is Cable SHOs... hmmph.. And as far as automotive places, their largest bolts are a 125mm in length, but my main problem is I don't know the dimensions of the bolt since it snapped and went bye-bye! I'm still trying to figure out how the **** that bolt broke like that! I need a torque wrench *shrug*...

Went through the same problem last week when I converted mine to a rod shifter. Took me over 2 hours to find the bolt. I found mine at Pep Boys believe it or not. They never have what I need. There was only a few threads that caught on the trans, but it then began to squeeze the bushing and there was plenty to bite in the trans housing. Let me know if you can find one.

I think it`s 12X1.5mm,i got a 4' rod of it,cut it to length,and used nuts on it.It`s been holding fine for quite a while now.If the hole started to strip the last few threads since the original bolt was loose,a bolt replacement will not stay tight.Get the threaded rod in and secure it with a nut,then slide on the shifter rod,then use 2 nuts tightened against each other with a small amount so slack for the shifter movement.
