Could be a belt, the bearings in the alternator or idler or tensioner pullies, the water pump, or even something below the timing cover. You'll need to try harder to isolate the specific source of the noise, we can't hear it from here...

Possibly a bearing on an accessory. Do you have a new alternator or anything? They may make that sound for a short time when brand new.
I got that sound while my alternator was slowly dying. The bearing got really bad in it, sometimes causing the car to stall apparently (happened for 1 day, twice). eek!

Go to Autozone and have the alternator tested, that's one start. If it gives really low output, it could be on the way out. If you'd like to check everything over there, you need to remove an accessory belt, and check the devices on it. Spin their pullies, if they sound sort of scratchy and noisy, you may have found it.
