Got a little sick of everyone and the fancy schamsy intake paint pics so i decided to do mine as well. :D

While doing the painting process i removed the intake horns, they were chocking my big bore butterflies.

Installed my gasket matched ported runners and gasket match ported the prymaries on the plenums.

Gasket matched ported the heads.

Removed the lip inside the intake hoses to allow better flow as you see by the pic bellow a big difference.

I also got to do the coolant bypass while i was at it.

Ill be adding black paint to the emblems on the plenums in a few days as well as some touch up work.

Thanks guys. :thumb:

Jason, i know the trick, spray over the letters and plenum then with a rag with paint thiner clean the plenums, i did a search and read alot before doing this little venture not only on the painting aspect but also how to, torque specs, so it would come out right, youre write-ups were very helpful.[thank you]

After taking the pics i let the car sit overnight to allow sealant to cure, started the car no whistles all is good.

Actually better than good, the car runs awesome, alot more torque when the seconderies open up.

I'm real happy with the looks and the much better performance.

Little too much black in there for me Tony, but to each his own. I like how the white on the strut towers just offset all that black...really just puts it more in balance. But that's just my opinion. :D

I agree with masho95. I think it looks perfect just like it is. :thumb:

Clear corners would really set it off. ;)
