Hey guys I'm looking for some info before I send my 95 off for alignment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First, What struts are the best for handling and and a firm ride? I wasn't happy with the Sesitracs on my 93.

2nd, Is there any difference in the coil springs between the 93-95 model years?

3rd and lastly, What are the differences between the metal and plastic endlinks? Any reason to buy one over the other?

Strut preferences are all a matter of personal opinion. I'm quite happy with my Tokicos where others prefer something else. Stock McPherson struts are also good riders and are cost effective. KYB's are preferred by many and are cheap cheap cheap. Having said that I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for.

I can't answer the question on the springs. I don't think there would be a difference though but don't hold me to that.

Stay away from the plastic endlinks if you can. I've never had a set last me more than 6 months and even though they carry a lifetime warranty and are fairly easy to replace, I still don't think I should have to replace these every 6 months...so for me it's not worth the headaches.

Koni struts are nice if you want to spend the extra money. They are adjustable too.

Provided they did not throw on some SLO springs, all gen 1 and 2 SHO's can use the same springs.

For the price similarity, just go with the metal endlinks.

the performance of the strut is very dependent upon you finding a decent coil spring to match it ;)
