ok i have a 94 auto and my check engine light is on i ran the codes it said that i have a bad shift 2 solenoid what is that and where is it located??? i forget what the code number was it was like 622 or 632 but thats what it said

next is there a way to bypass the neutral rev fuel cut off at 4k rpm?

the shift 2 solenoid is in the tranny.....while it's apart you might as well rebuild it.

there's a way to bypass the neutral rev but your torque convertor will explode so you don't want to do it

Not long ago I got a smilar code except it was for 3rd gear. After that my tranny went downhill...and fast. I get it back on Mon 2,551$ later, after a complete rebuild and a Trans-go shift kit. You don't want to override that 4k rev limiter it protects the torque converter. If you override it, you will damage the tc and that will just add to your problems.
