My air conditioner needs to be charged and I was thinking about buying one of the retrofit kits to convert it to a R-134 system. Has anyone else done this, and does it even work on the SHO?

Do I need any special tools to do this other than wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.?

After you have read the threads that have been recommended get back to us and we will answer your questions. It is a doable project with a few common tools and a set of tools made to "uncouple" the A/C and/or fuel line. The set is about $15 to $20 at Auto Zone or other parts stores.
