First it was driving fine, then engine just quit. No spit, or sputter.
Started just fine 30 minutes later. But just died 3 miles later. 15 to 20 minutes later it starts like normal and then dies in a few minutes. Repeated process a couple more times to get home. Hooked up scanner NO CODES. installed new crank sensor anyway. Still starts then dies a few minutes later.
Now it won`t start at all. Cranks but no start. It is hard to tell but sounds like fuel pump not turning on, Still NO CODES, Now scanner reads "Connection Error" Fuel pump cut off switch is ok. Have noticed No "Check Engine, or Service Engine" lights come on when key is turned to accessory, Run, or start position. Dash "THEFT" light flashes normally with no key. But when key is inserted and turned "THEFT" light flashes very fast. Could it be the PCM has gone bad? Any help is greatly appreciated.
