I was wonderin' if a set of the nice crome 98' SHO wheels would fit my 93' OK? I have P215/60ZR1682 Eagle GT+ tires... I do have Eibach Pro-Kit springs in it too so it's a little lower... Lemme know...

Slicers are 6.0" wide; stock tire size is 215/60/16

Gen 3 5-spokes are 6.5" wide; stock tire size is 225/55/16

Basketweave wheels (15") from '89-'90 will not fit a Gen 3 (or any Gen 1/2 with a '96 brake upgrade). Not that anybody would actually try to do that!

Then Gen 3 wheels do look nice on the Gen 1/2 cars. If you want to improve performance at the same time get the aluminum finish '99 wheels (different from '96-'98) as they're about 2 pounds lighter (each) and will make your SHO faster!

Later.

Does that mean that I can put a 235/50/16 on my 94? Will it fit? I am looking at picking up a set and would love to get a wider tire on my child.
If I have to trim the fenders, how are is that? What is involved?

Thanks
Anthony

You can put 235/50/16 on them, but I would personally go with 225/50/16. I know a couple people on the forum have 245 on slicers eek! eek!

You can go 235/50/16, but it will be about an inch shorter than a 215/60/16.
235/55/16 is closer to the same height as a 215/60/16.
