It's time to sell the car after nearly 10 years of ownership.

It's a 1997 Ebony Satin (aka black) with Saddle (tan) leather interior. It's got 241,000 kilometers (about 150k miles) on it. The engine was replaced by NESHO in 2008 after I blew the original on the way home from the Kalamazoo convention the previous year. The transmission was rebuilt at the same time and a shift kit and a re-inforced torque converter was installed.

THE GOOD
- NESHO stainless brake lines all around
- OEM style carbon fiber hood (black)
- NESHO X-Calibrator 2 Tuner (also does code reading)
- all new air conditioning components including compressor, condensor, heater core, lines. Everything except a new a/c clutch and coil but I have a new coil that I'll include.
- 23 mm rear sway bar and brand new bushings this July (installed by SHOnut)
- aluminum subframe bushings
- carbotech XP-10 track pads installed in the front with one track day on them
- new struts, springs, strut mounts, strut bearings installed in July 2006 and car has less than 35,000 km since then (21k miles)
- new gas tank installed by NESHO and generously covered in undercoating to prevent rust
- ran a 14.8 with the old motor and 15.0 with the new motor and would likely be in the 14's on a colder day (full interior too!)
- no third cat, no resonator, stock mufflers, electric cutout bypasses mufflers
- paint is in very good shape for the mileage
- interior is very clean
- won numerous gold and silver awards at various SHO conventions
- hasn't been winter driven since about 2003

THE BAD
- had been winter driven from birth till 2003
- rocker panels are almost non-existant, but it's still fixable.
- located in Canada so importing might be an issue. I can drive it across so getting through the border isn't an issue but registering in your state might require proper importation
- is failing NOx levels on an Ontario emissions test. About 1000 part per million and the limit is about 300 or 400 IIRC. Suspect the EGR system is clogged. Some carb cleaner would probably take car of that.

Would like to sell car whole but will be willing to part out by the end of the summer. I'm willing to deliver for the cost of a one-way flight or train ride home.

Bumparoo.

Have an interested party but not 100% firm. Might be driving it down to the St. Louis SHO BBQ next month. Can also drive it down anywhere Kirk from NESHO might be headed and get a ride back to the north-east with him so I'll deliver it wherever he's going for the cost of gas one way.

I was all over this until I read about the rocker panels. With everything you have done it's definately worth 1,000. Good luck with the sale.

If it weren't for the rust I'd probably keep it forever. It would be perfect for someone with a cam failed car with no rust. Get Kirk to swap in a 5 speed with a Quaife and it could be a pretty sweet car for cheap money.

Atleast somebody picked it up. I was ready to pull the trigger, planned on calling the dmv tomorrow to see what needed to be done for a car from Can-uh-duh.
