97 mach sub-

i have a 97, mach no sub. i want to add sub,but do i need an amp???and is there an amp in there now??? and if so does it have the output jack for a factory sub???? what parts do i need to get???? thanks

There is no sub with the Mach system. There is an amp, it's on the left side of the trunk wall under the siding. However, most who put subs in run a second amp for subs.
