Thats what I thought too but its hard to tell and there is hardly any info on the posting. Did '96's have the V8 badges on the fenders?

I second that, it's Medium Graphite. Which also has a bit of a purplish tint to it, but with more than one picture shown, not Rose Mist.

Re color, I spoke with the seller and he sent me the door sticker. The paint code is TR, Medium Graphite. He also sent some other pics. Pretty rough shape cosmetically IMO but maybe worth it for the right price.

p.s. seller added that it has new struts (all-around), ball joints, gas tank, tires like new, and runs "great".

Pics the seller had sent me. The exterior looks pretty solid; clear coat issues maybe but body looks like that of a clean southern car. The interior is challenged but salvageable I think. If I lived closer, the car ran ok, and I could get the price down a good bit, I'd go for this. Worth saving for sure.

I've got literature from back in the day that referred to the color as both Charcoal Gray and Medium Graphite. I might have it reversed, but I seem to recall that technical docs tended to use Med Graphite whereas marketing materials would sometimes use Charcoal Gray. If you search Ford Paint Code TR you typically get Medium Graphite. At Automotive Touchup.com it is Medium Graphite Metallic.

Medium Graphite /Charcoal Gray cars are 1. Still great colors, and 2. Relatively rare. Worth saving, IMO.

Also IMO, worth more in the future over Rose Mist, as RM is a polarizing color : some love it, most think it's the ugliest color on the planet.

At least Ford didn't put the RM interior on RM SHOs, as they did on RM SLOs.
