Pulled the SHO out this AM for a quick spin...see the drivers front is VERY low, but figure I can make it to the local convenience store...get my coffee and some air all at once instead of heading to the back of the shop, kicking the compressor on and waiting 2 minutes...*******.

Make it a mile and the car feels bad...pull over, sure enough...FLAT.

Pop the trunk, pull the spare out and the jack etc. Break the lugs loose and pull the SP5000 off...oh hey, how about THAT? The spare won't fit over the 11.6" Big brake conversion.....walk home, get the Ram and start the process of making stuff right. I'm such a dolt.

Yeah but the stock jack sucks...the less I had to use it, the better LOL. When I came back from the house with the tire aired up, I bought my lo-profile floor jack LOL.

Busted... Bead?

Next time, jack up the rear and put your spare there. Use that rear then to replace the front. You don't need to jack up the entire side of the car, man.

I have slicers if you need a temporary fix.

That's how it's setup now.

Thanks for the offer, I'm actually on my way down to Ken's for a set of slicers.

Yeah the section of the wheel with the beed broke..about6 or 8 inches along the wheel.

Good.

Thanks Pappy!

...it is taking every ounce of restraint to keep the sandpaper and Satin Black paint AWAY from these!!

I musta nailed something recently. It always leaked a tiny bit but it's an aluminum wheel in New England...most do LOL. Suddenly it was needing 20psi every day:oogle:

I have the paint here in front of me and I'm resisting sooooooooo hard...maybe wait till I find another Gen 3 Five spoke (hellooooooooooooo matt:sun: ) and do the five spokes black and toss some KDWs on there....

Not for nothing, if you're thinking of getting busy with a set of rims you really should speak with Randy (RCADDELL) who'll give you a lead on a cost-effective 17" option you'll have a hard time saying no to.

I'm so broke I can barely pay attention...17" tires scare me..well not me per se, but they **** my wife off and SHE scares me;)

If I had some more coin I would have loved to buy Fred's slicer/blizzak combo as the SP5000's I have Stink in the snow LOL.

creepy...I now have the urge to PM Randy and ask about 17's...DAMN YOU Mel! You best pray my wife doesn't come with me to Carlisle!!

For some odd reason it is true. Grabs their *****, acts like a pervert and they say "I LOVE Mel, he is so awesome"

When I do that shit I get smacked. Must be that whole old thing. What did Perry say, he can get away with anything he wants by just saying "I forgot"

Well got the slicers on with a set of Yokohama All seasons for the snow...the worn sp5000's were a lil sketchy in the bad weather.

BFG g-force KDW's for summer!

You may want to re-think the KDW's. Talk to Kirk, Fred and Mr. A about their experiences.

*EDIT* Come to think of it, I am running with KDWS right now, real good open road tire with outstanding rain shedding characteristics. Not sure what tire I'll try next.
