95mtx c e l comes on only when driving misfires somtimes?

check engine lite comes on only when moving,misfires sometimes,then goes back to normal.its kinda strange.i cant get the code our.by the time i get home,&shut it down then key on for the scanner,its gone.

then you are not pulling codes correctly - any cel will result in a stored code that you can retrieve later. check again.

only code i got was 111.would a clogged cat make it bogg down sometimes??

there are 2 sets of codes - the first will be the koeo codes, which may well be 111, repeated twice. then there is a pause and a single flash, then the stored codes are displayed. you are interested in the stored codes.

i got them out,187,177,173.i didnt 02 sensors would cause thar much of a problem.i gess i hafta change them.
