Oil up all your cables, especially where the metal cables enter the sheathed tube. Remember there are 3 cables, front and 2 rears and the passenger side cable is really long. All the time your are oiling up the entrance to the sheating, yank on the cables and try to get them to move. It is advisable to have 2 people when you are working on the front cable, one in the car moving the foot pedal and another under the car. When you have got every cable to move a little, have your buddy do the foot pedal routine in the car, and you are going under the car at the back with a tire iron. There is a spring that looks like a pigs tail, that has the end of the cable system on it. You will discover where you can pry this pig tail back when your buddy mashes the foot pedal and moves the end foreward (collapses the spring).
Sounds way worse than it is. I won't take long to get it working again.
