I'm new here and hoping for some help.
I have a 95 Taurus 3.2 liter
I found 2 of the 6 terminals on the coil pack has no output.

My problem so far is I can't find a replacement coil pack.
Everything I have found so far has the wrong primary configuration for the plug.
Looking at the pack from the side view there is the locking tab on the top of the plug and a notch toward the left side on the bottom of the connector.

Every pack I have received from the dealer and aftermarket has the notch on the bottom centered with the locking tab on the top.

Do I just grind the lower ridge off or is there another coil pack out there that is right for this car?

It's been a long time since I have looked at one of these. I'm not sure what the problem is. Any correct application coil pack should be plug and play. Have you tried a used one from an SHO parts car? Try SvHoDan on here, or Ray at Midnightauto on ebay and see if they have a good used one for a decent price. I'd try Dan first.

IDK if they changed the plug config between the 3.0 and 3.2, but I just looked and the coilpack plugs are the same between my '92 and my '99gl with a -rod 3.0. I don't think there would be a difference between the packs besides the plugs. They have the same firing order. I would grind off the tab if it were me, but its up to you, dude.

Thanks Guys;)

Looking at the pictures at Rock I found what looks like the right plug setup.
It fits 95 3.0 m/trans FD490.
Go figure!!

Do those both share the same coil in the coil pack? Work your way back to the DIS and the PCM.

Turned out to be a bad connection on the coil output side plug on the module I'm guessing.
I removed that plug to check continuity between there and the coil pack.
Found no opens or shorts to ground.
Reinstalled the connectors and the missfire was gone.
I don't see anything green however I know it's not uncommon to have poor connections with Ford Module connectors.
