95 ATX starter question

I have a 95 with the 3.0L 5 speed. My trans went out on me yesterday so I pulled it out and put my other one in yesterday. I put it all backtogether but I have to jump the starter solenoid to get the car to start. I crank the key and get nothing. The post on the starter for the little wire broke off. I should add I am using a 3.2 starter. what can I do to wire this to a switch or something?

You need to find a way to fix the post and reconnect that small wire. Either that or replace the solenoid.
