Dont use cheap stuff when it comes to turbos and its related componants , or you're up for a surprise. You may go cheap on the intercooler and the pipes - but not on the turbo , the BOV and wastegate ...

First , that turbo is too small.

Second , if you want more then 300 crank hp @ 5psi , you will need a chip or a tuner along with injectors/fuel pump/FPR.

Third , as the other ones stated , this is a generic kit that they sell to ALL other vehicules , it WILL require alot of fabrication , the Ypipe to turbo isnt there (no one makes that part - you have to fab with exhaust pipes - which is missing in the kit) , you may come short with the alum tubing that they give you....

In the end , I think its worth it but you are in for quite a job and some money. Im thinking about 2000$++ in parts only , thats if you find a good named brand turbo in the junkyard for 100-200$.

If you want just a little more umph , I suggest you get some bolt ons first.

Yeah, do not buy an ebay generic turbo, unless you like chunks of turbo in your exhaust/intake. You're much better off buying a decent used turbo from local classifieds or a junkyard.

If you're not ready to fabricate your turbo setup, be prepared to pay 4k-5k for the kit/parts you will need. Even if you are able to fabricate, it's still going to cost a lot more than that kit you posted, not even counting the time you need to put in.

You can buy cheap ebay charge piping though, an aluminum tube is an aluminum tube.

I feel like for 5K it should come with the upgrades or not need them, But yeah with that kit you may as well save your money and just do what they told me to do (I'm 17 and asked the same questions) and get your engine back up to factory condition (or as close to it as you can) and then worry about mods cause it is far from a civic and there are basically no bolt on's for the SHO

You want it ALL for $5k? Heh... My Vortech head unit was 2/5th of that cost. If you want to live on the cheap, you better learn how to do everything yourself and make good contacts.

I'll be building the kits as necessary.

I don't mind doing a layaway plan. As you've got the money, I'll start putting the kit together.
