greetings, new here. My son just purchased a used 93, once the car gets warmed up, it just dies. It will still crank over and everything works, but it wont start. If we let it sit for an hour or two, it will start right away and run fine until its warmed up again, then it dies.

new to these vehicles and was hoping this may be a common problem and someone could lead me into the right direction.

TIA

as soon as its dead slap a timing light on it, or somehow verify spark. then check the fuel pressure, anything over 35psi and it should at least start.
get the codes from the computer/PCM and let us know what they are. check out some of the stickies, lots of tips there.
electrical connections and sensors are getting a bit old on these now, when they get hot they fail easily.

fuel pump, the relay control box at the top of the radiator, the ignition module on the intake crossover tube, cam and crank sensors are some of the possibilities.

Start with reading the codes(my bet is code 211 will pop up..CPS sensor) and then onto the front
60k maintenance.
Don't let him drive the car until you have resolved the issue ..it WILL
leave him stranded roadside.
Post back with your codes and the FINE people on here will guide you
on where to go next.

you described typical symptoms of a sick crank sensor. While you replace that, I recommend a full front 60k service: crank sensor, crank seal, timing belt, cam seals at a minimum.

^ this. And water pump, too, while the covers are off to replace the crank sensor.
