93 Ford Taurus SHO...251K miles on this fully maintained relic. I have owned since July '05, and am the third owner. First owner was a lease up to 15K, second owner up to 175K. The second owner had all scheduled service work performed at the local Ford dealership near Philadelphia where the car spent a majority of its life in salt-free conditions. Since in my posesion I have continued the maintenance from my own garage, and as evidence by the current mileage and condition this car still has many miles left in it.

The car is mostly stock, save for a few small enhancements to really bring the car to life...most notable was the MTX conversion:)

Vehicle specs: 3.2 DOHC Yahama V6, 5 speed manual, 4 wheel ABS with disc brakes (fronts have been upgraded to the larger 11.6" rotors and matching calipers), Summit catted Y-pipe (eliminates 90 degree bend from stock pipe), Monroe SensaTrac struts with Intrax lowering springs, Aluminum subframe bushings, 17"x8" Ronal wheels with lots of tire life left. Also have the stock 16" wheels for winter use, however the tires are about shot.

Recent new parts (~3000 miles ago) include: steering rack, Moog tie rods, Moog control arms, Monroe struts with bearing and mounts, pads and rotors. Fresh inspection good until March 2012.

Interior is fully optioned with dual power leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, CD player, window tint, white face gauges, and a nice large sunroof.

I average ~25mpg in day to day commuting...with close to 30mpg on highway drives. Engine is in excellent condition; rod bearings, timing belt, valve shims, etc. have all been serviced as needed.

Overall, the car is in great condition, there are a few spots of rust that have started recently, but fresh enough to where it isn't too far gone to remedy. Some creeks and rattles, but expected for a car engineered and built nearly 20 years ago. I daily drive this car, and as such have made sure that it is kept in great shape. My goal to reach 250K was achieved recently, so it is now time to move on to a new car for me.

I'm located in Buffalo, the car is currently in the garage staying clean. Please email me for further information. [email protected] will send a notice to my phone, this is the fastest method of contacting me.

Beautiful car with a perfect stance. I know the miles are a little high, but I can't believe that a car like this is only worth 2 or 3 thousand.

If I were a little closer. Obviously very well taken care of. Amazing condition for those miles.

Depending on location, I would consider the possibility of delivering/meeting a potential buyer. I tend to roadtrip quite often, so this idea isn't as crazy to me as it may be to others:)

What exhaust does it have on it? Looks like dynomax? Any close ups of the spots that are rusty? Thanks!

The exhaust was built through a local shop from the y-pipe back. Has a summit resonator and summit mufflers, dynomax tips. It's aluminized tubing, and the passenger side has been temporarily patched just in front of the muffler (where muffler was welded to piping). If I were to keep the car I'd invest a few bucks into cleaning this up but for now it's holding up fine.

Driver wheelwell near bumper. I pretty much picked loose paint/rust away and coated with touch up paint for now.

Pass wheelwell. Same story as driver side with picking away and coating with touch up. Near bumper has some bubbling started, I haven't picked at this.

Sale pending! Put the car at the end of the driveway with a 'for sale' sign in the window, turned down anyone who didn't know what an SHO was, then today an older gentleman stopped and took all of 5 minutes to give me a deposit:)

Edit: forgot to mention the buyer is a long time SHO enthusiast and was looking for a summer-only car. He plans to keep this in the garage until he dies. I'm happy to see it going to someone who can appreciate the car and keep it rocking for many more miles to come!
