'93 Clockspring

I'm looking for the clockspring for a '93 and wanted to know if anyone knows if the clocksprings are the same for all Taureses. I'd also like to know if there are other compatible years. The part has been discontinued and there doesn't appear to be any aftermarket makes. At least Dorman doesn't seem to. Any help would be appreciated.

I went through several used ones and finally had an old car electrical guy get out the huge magnifying glass and soldering iron and fix the old one. Might be an option for you. There are no new units available. I think if you run a search you might find an old post that has compatibility info on it.
