93 atx tranny oil capacity...

Hi !
I dropped tranny oil pan and changed the filter... How much do i have to fill
tranny fluid??? And i dont flush tranny system... Please could someone give me some advice =)

It will take around 5-7 quarts. I would dump in 6 quarts. Drive it around untill the tranny is hot, then check the level of the fluid with it idling in park on a level surface, and adjust appropriately.

When ever I change auto tranny fluid I try to measure what I take out, but sometimes thats very hard when half of its is flowing accross the driveway.

I couldnt do that check... Its first time i do that change...I think its important thing to check how much comes out...

Just a clarification: The capacity is just over 12 quarts. Only 6 or 7 come out witht he pan drop, so think about the condition of the fluid after the change 50% good + 50% crap = not so good, but not so crappy.
