HI, i have a 93 atx and when i bought it a couple weeks ago it idled high at around 1100 rmp instead of the normal 8 to 900 ive had with other sho's ive owned. well it made it from denver to grand junction no problem except for the thermostat sticking closed at vail pass. luckly i bought one in toen and replaced it. and way the car ran great untill last weekend when at my job i flushed out the tranny and put a new gasket and filter on it and on my way home it started to sputter and just lost all sense of power. put the gas all the way to the floor and it wouldnt go above 1200 rps. so i limped it home and i replaced spark plugs and wires and coil pack and still ran the same. i just replaced the cam sensor and still runs the same only idles barely a little higher now but still doesnt like to go above 3000. took it for a spin and the runners wouldnt kick in and just did the exact same as when it first started. have checked fuel pressure which was between 36 and 42 psi. checked for vaccum leaks and nada. need some help guys cause im at my witts end.

the iac is new and when i put the new one on i cleaned the spacer in between and the idle did go up but it than dropped down . also i may have failed to mention the codes which are as follows. koeo is 157,158,215,217,335,336,519. koer codes are 129,167,225,521,613,632. i just got home from pulling the codes at oreallys and on the way there and home again and the car just ran like shit. **** this time it even died on me a couple times. short of getting a new harness and computer and motor im not sure what to do.

I filled up in the middle of winter when just starting a 120 mile trip at midnight. To keep it running, I drove with my foot on the floor for 2 hours, while just maintaining the speed limit. I probably lost 5 pounds on that trip.
You probably have water in the gas and your car is having trouble burning it.
Put some gas line antifreeze in the tank and a lot of your troubles will go away. Eventually, change your gas line filter.

157 = mafs circuit below minimum
158 = mafs circuit above maximum
215 = coil 1 primary circuit failure
217 = coil 3 primary circuit failure
335 = dpfe circuit voltage higher than expected
336 = exhaust backpressure high / dpfe voltage high
519 = psps circuit open
the koer codes you got are nearly all due to operator error during the test, so let's ignore those for now.

The car will never run right with the mafs codes, so your first mission is to fix that. Since you have both high and low, I would first change the mafs with a known good one, and make sure all the connections are good.

The coil codes are 50/50 that they are really due to a bad DIS, and since there are two of them, I would lean toward changing the DIS first.

Then, the dpfe codes suggest that the cats may be plugged, so you need to check for that as well.

Let us know what you find after you work on those.
