Thank you for looking at my 1992 MTX SHO. Hoping to find a good home for it. I am located in a suburb of Cleveland OH.

I hope to be thorough (warts and all) in the description so there should be no surprises if you buy the vehicle. I'm asking $1450.

The car will crank but not start. The water pump had a leak and I believe it took out the crank position sensor. I did replace the water pump and gasket in 2013 but obviously did not do a good job. I was planning on putting on a new gasket Labor Day weekend 2014, but had a heart attack the Friday before and a quad bypass the Tuesday after. I purchased from Advance in November 2018 a brand-new crank sensor that will go with the car.

The car had the 60K service at 75K at the cost of $4400 for the previous owner, and a new clutch at 77K so the drivetrain (minus the crank position sensor) should be in great shape.

The car originally had the Bose system, which comes complete in a box in the trunk of the car. However, I did replace the head unit with a Kenwood, which runs Alpine, Rockford Fosgate and Pioneer amps with Pioneer speakers. Did retain the factory sub. The added sway bars in the trunk and under the hood definitely improved the handling

The interior is in overall good shape. Driver’s seat is worn on the lower left of the backrest. Carpeting still is plush front and back. Original factory floor mats look very good. Don’t know if the backseat was ever used. The back seat has a split in the stitching (not the leather) in the upper right of the back as shown in the pictures.

Power windows, seats, door locks, wipers, lights, sunroof all work. Sunroof has no apparent leaks.

When I bought it the power antenna, cruise control and rear window defog did not work. The antenna and cruise didn’t bother me enough to fix. The rear defog isn't an electrical problem - the window grid was peeled off.

From the photos, the yellow scrape on the driver's rear fender is a paint scrape and did not dent the fender. The only place I know of rust is by the passenger rear door (pass rear 1 and 2 photos) and surface rust on the inner fender on the passenger side of the engine compartment. Took photos of the trunk with the carpeting up and there is no rust. I replaced the front passenger power window motor in 2013 and the inside of the door looked factory fresh.

I believe the car was repainted at some point as there is some peeling on the door trim on the driver rear door. The Michelin tires still have excellent tread, but they have cracks on the sidewalls.

When I bought the car from via eBay from a Florida seller they neglected to mention three minor hail bumps on the roof.

There is a limit of 10 files that can be attached to a post, so here's a link to Dropbox for 25 photos plus an excel spreadsheet with all known work done to the car by past owners and myself. Have all the receipts shown on the spreadsheet.
