Hi everyone! I am a new member. I have had numerous SHO's, gen 1 and 2, and have never encountered my current problem. I was accelerating fairly hard and lost all ability to run. I have spark and fuel pressure at the rails... However, my fuel pump is running constant and my cooling fan as well. I pulled a ccrm off of my 91, but I am still having the same issue. The 91 has not run for a couple of years and the failure of that one was never determined. I have checked the ground for the ccrm. I can get another ccrm today, but I really don't want to if it is not the problem. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

you should be checking ground to the pcm, and connections to the pcm - it could be bad pcm as Toolman suggests, or it could just be a bad ground connection.

I know my car is having similar issues like that as well when you first start it it starts up fine acceleration is there once he gets around the operating temperatures engine light comes on and starts making a funny noise I turn it off and turn the key back to on in my fuel pump and fan is constantly running. And the safe tester will not work once it does that. But I let it cool down and it works then.
