92 mtx transmission

well after talking to my mechanic, he thinks my transmission needs rebuilt, the synchs are bad... I've posted about it not going in reverse, after I got everything back together it grinds going into gear with clutch in so I would guess after driving with no clutch the synchs are bad too....

Anyone know where I could find a reman or good used mtx? I'm not sure where to look

how about this... anyone know of some place I could take this thing that they would work on the transmission? Preferably around the kansas area?

All the synchs, blocking rings, etc have been discontinued from ford. Best bet is to find a good used transmission. There is a 92 MTX at Broadway auto salvage in Valley Center, Kansas. Don't tell everyone, its MINE parts car!! Its the only SHO in KANSAS!!

Parson Auto Parts has some, Kingman Salvage... or so I was told by the computer at the salvage yard.
Auto Recyclers has one in wichita, I've actually talked to them about it. At least a taurus not 100% on the sho part.

I'll sure try the broadway auto salvage, I just need the transmission currently.
