92 mtx alternator> 95 atx harness

how would i go about putting my 92 mtx alternator that is a two pin connector onto my 95 atx 3 pin connector harness?
i am doing the atx-mtx swap and i am utilizing the 3.0 accesories and was just wondering how i would do this? is one of the wires not going to be used?
anybody have any suggestions?

yes one of the wires isnt used now and it causes no issues what so ever... i did this exact swap about a year and some ago and it was perfect.. i went from 95 atx to a 92 mtx setup while using stock wiring...

i think when i rip the car apart again for the final step its gonna be mtx wiring all the way threw the car because you cant just replace underhood wiring it has to be dash and all the way to the truck i leanred and wasent happy to see.

i cant remember which wire it is...
look for the writeup about the swap and you will find it in there.
if no results anytime soon pm me and ill go look

the middle wire to simplify this for anyone who might come across this... the middle wire in the plug gets cut and thats all it takes.

I am just wondering being as of right now I am not next to the car but, is it the yellow wire?

I think i might have recalled looking at it but I mat be wrong. Am I?

I don't recall how the atx alternator wiring is. If it's the same as the 94-95 mtx alternator (3 wire), you could swap in the better 94-95 mtx alternator provided you use the AC compressor bracket, alternator and bracket from a 94-95 mtx as well. I'm running this setup on my 93 mtx.

yeah maybe in the future i would swap it out for the 94-95 but as of right now i don't want to spend any more money on my atx-mtx swap, i just want to get it running properly and make sure everything is good for the first couple of months, then i would probably do it. But i just want it to run right now
