Bought a 92 mtx with original ac compressor. I was told that it had just been charged with the new freon after having some mods. done to it. Driving home noticed loud screech when ac cycled on when rpm's greater than
3000. I took it to an ac shop where they stated that the head pressure was to high. They reduced the head pressure, and added a separate cooling fan for the compressor to also help reduce pressure. Now what? Any other mods. that will eliminate the anoying screech? Dump the old system and replace with a new system, which I don't think I could afford anyway. The ac has always blown cold, and I live in Phoenix. Any idea's or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
