My bro found a 92 sho at a junkyard engine eec everything and pulled it and is bringing it later today so info would be appreciated

ANY MTX computer will work with any originally equipped MTX car. The X2J computer out of the '92 is actually a better unit than your current one.

BTW, how have you come to the conclusion that your EEC is at fault?

The current EEC i have got f'd up somehow with the last owner (my bro) connected some crap wrong and something happened to it, it wouldnt give out any codes either. Car would crank, spark, good fuel pressure, everything but would not start up at all. I spayed some ignition fluid directly into intake and it would start right up. it wouldnt sound good at all at first and then after leaving it running for a while it would then sound "normal" as it could get. If i shut the car off, with the engine warm i could start it up right away with no spraying on intake or nothing.

He just brought it in like 2 hrs ago, its a Remanufactured X2J EEC says on the label. I poped it in and cranked it up and the sho immediately started running (< 2sec.) sounds good compared to the eec i had. Guess it was my eec i had checked everything else i couldnt figure what was wrong, guessed it was the EEC good thing i was right  . I took it out for a spin(15min) around where i live to see how it ran it sounds good but the check engine light came on just as i pulled into driveway. Poped the hood and plugged in the code reader but before i even started the test the check engine light turned off. I ran the test anyway and came back with 3 codes (538-536-521) theres a line leaking a bit of steering fluid it seems i just fixed that right now need to put some more fluid and hopefully that code (521) will be gone. the others though not totally sure.
