Thanks for reading. I have a '90 MTX that stopped running today. I was driving along just fine, took a corner with a bit of a bump, and when I hit the gas again the car was sputtering. I shut it off and tried to restart. Crank crank crank, no start. After reading the boards, I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to either the TPS, CPS, or DIS module. From what I've read, the fact that the tachometer is working when I crank it pretty much rules out CPS. Further, the DIS module seems the more likely culprit as the wires do not produce a spark when tested via the screwdriver method. I tested two wires, no spark in either. So, I'm pretty sure my DIS module is bad, I just wanted to run this scenario past a few guys with more expertise than myself. Any suggestions, questions, ideas? All help is appreciated.

I realize this seems like a rather mild problem to put in emergency help and repair, but I'm a pizza delivery driver and I'm scheduled to work in 14 hours. Thanks for the help!

the DIS is where you should because its the easiest to replace. If you have ANYONE around you with a SHO you could swap them to see if it is indeed the culprit and swap them back in 5 mins. Always start with the easiest or cheapest fix. Hope you figure out the problem

Problem resolved. Ended up being a loose connector on the rear side of the DIS module. It appears as if the rocking of the engine is causing the connector to rub against some type of black supporting rod, eventually forcing it out of it's seat. Any insights as to how to solve that puzzle?

Sounds like you have a broken motor mount or a broken(rusted) sub frame. Check the rear sub frame were it bolts to the floor.

Second update. Upon closer visual inspection in the daylight, it appears that the p/s rear subframe bushing has given up completely. Off to do some searching on the boards to see what I can find out. If anyone would like to help me out by posting some relevant links as to where to get parts, what I'll need, etc, it would be helpful and very appreciated.
