I have to change my brakes and rotors. I own an 89 sho. Will the car brake better if I install 91+ rotors to my existing 89 caliper and pads? Is is possible? If I can what year rotors should I order to fit my original 89 calipers and pads? Thanks

They didnt change the rotors till 94 if I am correct. In order to put these on you will need new knuckles and a couple other parts to install those. So to install rotors older then 94 is really no point. Some one should be able to tell what parts are needed for the 94 upgrade.

What? Order the rotors and pads for a 1989 SHO. I would recommend the Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads with lifetime replacement warranty from AutoZone. I have had excellent service from the $18 front rotors from AutoZone.

My rear passenger brake is seized, so I'm considering some Raybestos pads. Someone told me they really made his truck stop better, so I might pick up a set.
