89 sho wiper

I have an 1989 sho thats hasnt been driving regularly because of an ongoing problem with the wipers. They dont seem to want to park. I have replaced the transmission, and motor last fall. Thought now it was multiswitch....just replaced with new NOS motorcraft part. No luck. With switch off....wipers wipe then go to park and then continue cycle again. When turned on, they stop where they are. Any suggestions? Thanks/

Assuming it's like my '92, the problem is likely to be in the wiper governor. You can take it apart, and repair any cracked solder joints on the PCB. That was the problem with mine. These photos should help:
