Hey guys I just purchased a 89 sho for way to cheap anyways the fuel pump is either out or I have a bad relay or fuse but I cannot find the relay for it and have followed the wires and found the ecc spot and that's it anyone have an idea or should I just change the pump??? And it is not the inertia switch unless it has gone bad because the trunk has had a water leak so it is possible

The relay is in the CCRM constant control relay module. Black box with wiring plug going into it above the radiator. Should have a letter on top like J or M. Should be under a plastic thing over the radiator area on the right side. Can't tell you if the relay or pump is out

Yes not bad paid 400$ for it it has some issues but instead of the initial idea of a restoration I'm going to do a track build

Easy fixes are nice. One of my earlier SHO's was a rear ended 92 that I picked up for $350. Took a little bit to rebuild it, but it lasted me 7 years of daily driving before passing it on to the next owner.

The wire is pink with black strip going out of the relay, make sure its got voltage. That year I believe has dual voltages for the fuel pump. See that horseshoe white looking thing in the back, that's the resistor for the fuel pump in low mode. bypassing that wire keeps it in high mode. No voltage at all, its that relay. If voltage and fuel pump is dead, then you have to cut a hole under the rear seat on right side to access it.

I usually drop the tank I actually had the tank dropped when I realized I should be doing voltage test first and lucky for me I ended up just finding a loose wire reconnected it solid and it started right up like a dream now I have a small crack in the radiator and my fan isn't working I'll probably rewire the fan and replace the radiator with something nice then I got to jump into the wiring behind the dash because my temperature gauge is not working

The Temp gauge could very easily be the Temp Sender. It comes out of the drivers side of the front head near the coil pack. I'd change that before I started messing behind the dash.

I got my 92 SHO for $900. The owner just had a new paint job on it then installed a deer option on the front.

Impact on the driver side. Hood was crushed, driverside quarter was ripped right off. Bumper torn on the driverside. All the lights including headlight, side marker, fog light and the headlight bezel was destroyed. The raditor support was bent and I had to straighten it back out. Thankfully the body itself was not bent. It was more of a glancing blow that did quite a lot of damage on the driverside.

A little bit of a derail on your topic, but here is an early shot. You can see the damage on the front. That whole side was pretty much toast.

From the front and side after I spent a few weeks repairing the damage. Main reason I got it was the previous owner before him was actually a part of a SHO club. I got all the original documentation and brochures from that time and a maintenance log from one of this car's previous owners. Car had 99,000 miles on it when I got it. $900 wasn't too bad, I just needed to do some repair work. She is my daily driver now.
