Car is off the Market. One of the Cam seals is leaking. The car will get a front 60K, Some other minor repairs and some upgrades. Once all of these are complete I may keep it or sell it for 3500 Firm with what I have in mind. If you are still interested in the car you can PM me and we may be able to work something out.

Back on the Market.

2,100 AS IS with the Leaky lower Cam seal.

OR 2500 with it Repaired.

The car No longer comes with the 17'' wheels or tires, Sorry - I'm not letting those items go. The Brakes are sold.

Car will now come with a SHOshop Equal Length Y-Pipe as opposed to the FPS Unit.

If you can find another 89 that collectively is in as good as shape, with this kind of MX history, for this price. Good luck.

Bolted the SHOshop Y-Pipe on to it today, Threw some oil in it and took for a drive for the fist time in well over a month. Drives great and still hauls plenty of ass.

Sorry for not sending any pictures out.

I'm also dropping the price more.

I am lowering by 25 Cents. One of the knobs on the A/C is broke. Since a replacement will cost about 1 dollar at the Junyard, I've dropped the price by a Quarter.

Ok so 2k with no wheels, not even the weaves?

Can you even still buy the correct all rubber cam seals anymore?

Good price for a good car. Hope someone buys it soon. I'm sure if I had another 2 grand lying around, I'd look into it. It's the original 89 on weaves, after all. Then I could start being a SHO hoarder. I like the 89's dash and wheel better than my 90's anyway.

Got a credit card with a 0% balance transfer for a year or so with a nominal fee? Pay the 3% fee, borrow the $ at 0%, pay it back before the 0% expires. No not a good idea to borrow $ for a toy...but if it's a small amount and the one you want pops up at the wrong time. You can make it happen. I did. BTW Citi credit cards let you borrow that 0% $ and put it straight into your checking account. Just an idea.

The Basket weaves are the wheels pictured. They look better in the pictures then they do in person. From 10 feet away when cleaned up they look great, But like any 20 year old wheel on a car thats been driven, The clearcoat is flaking.

Also, I can tell you that 2500 dollars is the price for the Cam Seal Fixed, But I'm not sure when I'm going to have time to fix it. I barely have time to keep up my other cars up. If the route you want to take is getting the cam seal fixed, That's fine, but I will require a 400 Dollar non refundable deposit if that's the route you want to take. Non refundable because I'm not going to fix it for someone, just to have that person back out. If I were you, I'd buy as is (as it runs fine and does not smoke), Keep adding oil until you can have someone fix it. (Tim Tyner, (Toolman) is 3 hours south in Tulsa and could probably help).
