Bump, I've had a few interested parties back out. Car will go to the Crusher in a month if it's not sold for 2,000

-Sam

You're going to scrap a car for $200-300 if you don't get $2000 firm? Wow. Why not sell it for best offer and get $750-1500...seems like a better deal than $200 to me. I seriously doubt you'll do that....if you do, PM me the price that the crusher is giving you and I'll give you $100 over that and I'll come get the thing.

The Crusher does not flake out, make lowball offers and is always ready to pay out. It's a much easier buyer to deal with.

Seems like it'd be easier to park the car out front, let me paypal you the $100 over the scrapper cost, have me a signed title and keys waiting and I'll pick her up; that's pretty easy to deal with.

I REEEEAAALLY want your SHO. I would have cash in hand by the end of the month. I would be coming from PA though and it's an over 16 hour drive both ways. I can promise you I won't back out, I'm a 1st Gen nut and can't find one local I've had 4 and regret the sale of every one of them. Please tell me you could drop down to $1600.00 cash and you have a gaurenteed buyer!
Thanks, Paul

Ummm....not to speak out of turn, but he's firm on $2k. I think $1600 is out of the question...but hey, let him respond.

That's what I was thinking, sounded like the couple hundred or so scrap cost was better than any other deal below 2k. I'd very possibly take it for 2k if their was any way I could possibly afford it right now, but none.

Tried fleabay yet Sam?

Might get more bites in the spring.

I don't want to pay the 150 dollars to list the car. We'll see what happens.

What's REALLY unfortunate, is the 3 PM's I've received in the last 2 weeks from a few different members, all of them saying "I Have the monies, I want to buy the car...etc", then they disappear off the face of the earth.

I just have too many projects. Id love to have it. 2k's a steal, this car's cleean. I still have no idea how its not sold.
Dont get me wrong this is still a great community, but if you cant even give away an original near stock example within your own community, thats not a good sign. Hang in there shoforum, dont go dyin on me..

I was all set to buy it, just was trying to figure a way to go get it, and we lost our washer AND dryer on the same day...so that took it outa my price range...

I want to be very clear that this car is CLEAN, But it does have its issues (The small rust spots, small blemishes on the top of the paint). This car has been DRIVEN it's whole life, but it runs as smooth as any SHO I've EVER driven. Joe (Fast4door) can attest that I am very upfront about every single little issue with this car, as I think I spent an hour on the phone with him going over the car.

For the MAIN issues with the car (Cam Seals, Exhaust Leak, Heatercore), I am willing to have them Fixed, but it will add to the price of the car, However not by insane amounts as I have QUALITY work done on my SHO's for great prices, by a great SHO Mechanic. Just PM and we can work something out.

HOWEVER, I still will not go below 2,000 with it's current condition. There is a chance you may be able to find a cleaner car with no issues for less money... and if you do, More power to you, but I feel the car is worth my asking price and that is not up for negotiation.

Thanks!

-Sam
