8000k hid question

If I were to upgrade from stock headlight bulbs to 8000k hids would they burn out my headlight lens or fry the harnesses? Im interested in upgrading them soon. Any comments would help. Thank you in advance.

From what i've read, i dont believe it will burn out the harness as long as you get the conversion kit that is a "plug-n-play" style.

I do believe you will get lots of scatter in your headlaps from the pattern in the headlamp itself....

I friend of mine up here has a plug and play 9004 HID kit for his 90, and it has soooo much beam scatter and glare, it is dangerous to oncoming traffic...

if u want hid do a retrofit with projectors its the only way to get any useable light on the road. our housings just arent made for it.
