I want to make my sho wet....literally

Wondering if anybody has any recommendations or cautions (advise) about using a 75 wet shot on a ATX? It is a pre-throttle body set up and it is not direct injection into the runners. It's set up just like a dry shot would be through the intake tubing after the MAF.

Also, does anybody know what kind of gains I should expect? hopefully more than a 75 dry shot....

Don't put a wet shot on. The fuel will puddle in the intake and you will run lean = Shoboom.

Dry shots or direct injection is where it's at.

The fastest Nitrous Times on this Forum have been accomplished with a Dry Shot. :swing:

James has also heard shoBOOM more often than perhaps any other forum member, so there is that to consider.

yeah but the last boom was research. he has now proved that the motor will rev to 9k rpm but not make power. and once revved to 9k feeding it an .061 jet of nitrous makes for a crabby engine that wont start for a year.

NEVER use a wet shot unless it is a direct port setup. A dry setup is just fine!

You usually get out of the engine what you have it jetted for. A 75 shot will give you a full 75 hp increase, but the added torque is what your after.

Again, unless it's a direct port setup go DRY.

Get yourself a ZEX dry kit. Jet it at a 75 SHOt. I recomend tapping the throttle body and installing the nozzle there. I have seen them rip the rubber elbow between the MAF and TB.
Install some autolite 3923 plugs.
Enjoy!

This sounds so tempting.
75 horse with the push of a button, i've never even been in a car with nitrous. I thought wet was the safest, best way to go, but apparently not.

Not really.... dry is the safest! as there will be fuel, right there when you hit the button! wet isn't very safe because of the fuel puddling! I've heard of plastic intakes blowing off!
