i feel so bad for him! i was the first person he called!
But he's driving a **** toyota camry now lol
Insurance totalled it, and he says that gap insurance might be a little tricky...
he might have to keep making payments on the car like last time. It was all messed up.

If it wasnt his falt it shouldnt change right?

No your somewhat at fault just for being there, plus even if its considered 100% not your fault it goes on your record and insurance companies look at it.

Unless he buys it back from his insurance company, we will be auctioning it off.

THa engine is going to have issues and maybe some cracks in the tranny case. I have seen that many time in hit like that. That desn't look that bad, but there is a mess of internal engine compartment issues. I wouldn't doubt that the head has issues becasue the exhaust man was pushed into by the core support/fans/rad. Who ever buys that car is buying it for the rear end. Lots of good parts there. Anyway for him to buy back that car would cost him more then what he would get out of it, since it was new. If it was older. that is a differnt story.
