Just wanted to say thank you for to everyone, who has answered and helped me along this process. She started up the first crank, yay! If it wasn't for this place I wouldn't have known what to do, or even to do it for that matter. Thanx again
What I did:
All new hoses
New Plugs-Motorcraft of course (replaced AC Delcos previous owner had put in that were submereged in oil)
Wires-Motorcraft
Valve Lash-(replaced all 24)
ECT sensor
Temp. Sender
Thermostat
And an assortment of gaskets.
She is running 200% better than before, I am amazed how much better she drives now! Thanx again everybody.

Hi SHOTimer,
My SHO has 121K miles on it and I'm getting ready to do the tune-up. If you don't mind me asking, how much money did the whole job cost? Did you do it yourself? Where did you get the parts? Thanks for the info!

It cost me about 200-250$, not bad in my opinion. I got my plugs and wires from Ford Parts Network, my valve cover gaskets from Auto Zone (they come with plug well seals..they only sell them for a 91 SHO 3.0, but the valve covers are the same so they will work). I bought my shim tools from OTC. Got a feeler gauge from Auto Zone. My sensors and Thermostat I got from my local Ford dealer, and I ordered my assorted shim rental kit from SHOnut performance. I think that is about all the parts. Yes, I did it myself, I have learned that I am the only one I can trust with my SHO (and the cheapest). It wasn't very difficult, some parts just took patience, and of course you then have the satisfaction of a job well done!
