Can someone please let me know if there is step by step article of this job. Maybe someone from this board or another board that has posted this job and the challenges we face. Anything will help. We are going to the water pump, timing belt, cps and seals.
Thank you
Stixx

Check out Shomtimes.com. There is a good step by step process on how to do it. Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

There is the 60k "how to" video. It is very well done and worth it IMO. You can buy it at Sho Nut Performance or from Mark N. (drivinhard here). The procedures are good on the shotimes.com website. Any snags have been addressed here at some point in time so the search function should help here too.

If you provide me your personal email address I will reply with some very helpful documents. One is a step-by-step procedure for the valve gap job. If you enter this information into your profile with the Forum, I could have retrieved the address and sent the info without asking.

scott,

can you send me your "shopping list" and this step by step list. (i think i have the shopping list covered from your previous posts, but just in case).

also you mentioned in a prev. post, something like "are you working from a step by step proc. with torque numbers?" where might i find this info?

thank you.

shojuan and wannabeSHOman, I have emailed you the valve gap procedure, gap worksheet and parts prices and sources. I have an Acrobat file of the timing belt procedure from the old SHO Registry magazine for the 3.0L. Please let me know if you want it because it really doesn't apply to the 3.2L. The SHOtimes.com site has a fair procedure for the 3.2L timing belt change. I say fair because there are some inaccuracies like having to remove the alternator and rear timing belt covers.

Scott,

Have been reading your posts for a while and would really, really like that document on valve adjustment. Could you email it to me as well?

Thanks!!

Hate to sound like a broken record, but I'm guessing at 140k that my SHO needs a valve adjustment too. Since I have a 3.0L I would appreciate the additional document(s) too.

Thanks,
Chris
