Full weight even had spare tire in trunk, almost half a tank of gas.

Yesterday after a 60-0 I immediately did a quarter run and ran 12.20, which on current tires was a solid tenth faster than I had ever went on street. Thought it was from warming the tires, but also realized I had traction control on.

So today I went out and tried a few 1/4's with traction control on with varying launch rpm's, ran 12.20, 12.12 and this run.

Should have listened to jordan a little sooner I guess. Last year everytime I tried it was a tenth slower than turning traction control off, but I was always launching at the same rpms.

Told ya that traction control is good stuff. lol

I hated to admit it but traction control is even better off-road.... Unless you are within 5minutes of needing winched out. Then it's send it till ya bend it!

So, what was the sweet spot in RPM’s for the launch? My experience has always been getting choked off by quick brake pulses.

I'd bet results will vary based on mods, power level and what kind of tires you have, but my sweet spot on roads seems to be 1400. At the track last year i was launching around 2K with the most success.
