My fuel door will not open from the latch inside. The only way to open it is buy pulling the cord in the trunk. I did a search and tried playing with the medal tabs but no luck. Any other suggestions?

There is plastic spring thingy on the filler door that you need to replace. More than likely the part that pushes the filler door open has broken off. It is dealer only part and is about $7.00.

on my wagon i can take up the black plastice that is around the pull handel by the drivers seat for the gas/ rear hatch. take it off and see if the wire is still attached to the lever.

playing with the spring on the door will not help if u can reliece the gass door by pulling the strap in the trunk.
