Very nice man! I would have spent the time polishing that motor too.. ;) Now its as fast as it looks.. Now you make me wanna go out and buy some pistons, and try it with some tri-flows or something....

But doing that, I would be out of the boost game then right? I notice all those boosted shos running low comp pistons... or is there some truth to, low comp, high boost = high comp, low boost?

Im still a bit of a Turbo/ SC noob... but been itching to get a little more out of it now that I got a good 30k on that block of mine.. :) I figure its seasoned enough..

I'm doing my first turbo build with low-comp pistons. But I think next time I might try a 10:1 set up and see how much more power it makes with less boost.

Very awesome!!!
This makes me feel very good about my 257 WHP 214 WTQ on a stock 3.2 short block and no tune!

While those numbers are certainly impressive, take a look at where Marcel starts making his TQ. That is where his numbers are VERY impressive compared to other SHO's making similar power.

Hopefully I can get a chance this weekend to try and tune this car on 91 in case I can't find 94 when I need fuel.

Man, your making me kick myself for not going hc when I did my 3.2 build. Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

How hard was it to tune? How aggressive are your cams? I would think that raising the compression on a cammed car would help a lot, considering the loss of cranking compression that comes from the increased overlap ect.

.375 lift on both cams 228 deg on Intake and 216 deg on Exhaust with 26 deg of over lap.
Cranking Comp was 210-215 psi.

Installed 48# injectors so there are a few other things you have to take into the tune but really no harder than any other modded SHO. Clutch in and rolling I can still get some mad surging but I figure its just the nature of the beast it only as 10-12 inches mercury vac at 1100 idle.

I was planning on making a nice nitrous tune where fuel is added via injector. But not sure anymore if I will.

I 100 shot dry kit will absolutely change that car. It's making great power now, but that power, plus the high compression will make it a tire roaster. You're sure to be in the 14's! :)

Even a 75 shot will make it scream. My 3.0 SHO gained 1 second and 7 MPH on just a 75 shot. Imagine what a motor that's built for DA SAUCE would do.
