Getting ready for the tune coming an note that on the 2018 there is only one screw holding down the sensor but there is another hole where a screw should go in . Is this stock correct?

Also my understanding was that the screw was T15 but in fact it's larger. Is the 15 stock correct? I'm going to buy a T19 to check the sizing .

My concern in both instances is that the previous owner was messing with the car.

I think I said T15... my memory could be wrong. T20 or T25 might be correct. Usually you buy a set that has t5 - t25 or something... never seen them sold individually unless it’s socket which you certainly don’t need..

Yes, a single torx screw is all there is. There are two holes but one screw. Perfectly normal.

It's correct that only one screw is holding down the MAP sensor. Screw size may have changed. Look at the screw head and see if it has witness marks like it was removed.

It’s a good idea to mark the 3 bar with a silver sharpie or something too. The part number printed on the 3 bar is virtually identical to the stock sensor and it’s easy to mix them up when you have both off the car.

How do you know this?!

It would be a T20 for the 3 bar map sensor installation

But don't worry - if you load the tune and have the wrong 3-bar installed.....you'll definitely know!
This is why we started sending pictures and videos about the sensors because we have had so many people replace the wrong sensor as well so whenever we get tune requests we always include those with the return email

I'm glad some one asked about the number of screws holding down the map sensor i was looking at mine the other day and thought someone broke one off in manifold and i was going to need to extract it:mad:.

The right way to handle the missing screw is to take the valve cover off, drill a new hole, reinstall the valve cover, then add the second screw. :nut:
