Good morning everyone. New to posting but have read some good information from all of you. I have read contradicting things though on the install of the 3bar map sensor whether it should be before or after the install of a new tune(already have the stock tunes from SCT installed for 93 octane and will be loading a new tune from Torrie this weekend) or if it even makes a difference? Any help is appreciated, thank you all in advance. If you need more info, let me know.

Engine off. Install 3 bar MAP. Install Tune. Start up engine. Car won't like it if you start it up with a 3 bar tune but no 3 bar MAP installed.

I've been told our "untuned" PCM won't be able to read the inputs from the 3 bar map. Installing before or after the tune doesn't really matter *** as long as you install it BEFORE you actually start the car for the first time after it has been tuned***, if that's makes sense.

Thank you both for the quick response. SHO T1M3...your comment makes sense but to be safe I will install the 3 bar map sensor then install the new tune.

Yes either one will work. The key is not starting the car until the 3bar is in.
Personally I installed 3bar, then tune.

If your engine is off the order in which you do the part/tune or tune/part install is meaningless. As long as you do not install the 3BAR or install the tune then start the car you will have no issues. The car has no clue what is going on while it is powered off. So I usually recommend installing the tune first so your intake manifold can cool a little bit before you touch it, and then install the part.
