Lately I've been entertaining an idea of picking up a local Gen 3 that has every symptom of a failed cam sprocket. Was wondering if it would be worth picking up (cheaply) and fixing and reselling. I see that the 3.4's are quite expensive but that good long blocks with heads are going for around 400 bux on abay. Does anyone have anything on hand or give me a rough estimate on cost. This car looks pretty nice and has new tires, brakes, wheelbearings and alternator. I'd also be doing all the work myself. Wouldn't mind tearing into a 3rd gen but I just need to make some money to sponsor the plus.
