For the 3.2 swap I know you go to the block and heads and use everything else from the 3.0L. So if I'm going to change the internals and Super/Turbo charge the motor would I only need to use after market 3.2L pistons, piston rods, rod bearings and everything else be 3.0L say cams for instance. Am I right in this assumption or does it depend on what all I want to modify if so lets say this for ex:

Internals:
-Wiseco Pistons 8:1
-Eagle Rods
-Celvite Heavy Duty Rod Bearings
-SHONut Performance XPz Cam Kit +/- 0.002" lobe to lobe

Has anyone with one of the turbo cars modified their internals?

Actually, for the easiest way to do it, use only the 3.2 block and reuse the 3.0 heads. That way you don't have to modify the rear head from the 3.2 to fit the MTX accessories.
I'm sure there are guys out there running FI on 3.2s. They'll chime in. But, you are correct, you'd use 3.2 pistons for your build. The 3.2 uses different (slightly beefier) rods than the 3.0 does. I do beleive the cranks are the same, though. And.. do they make pistons for the SHO with an 8:1 CR???

Tim's turbo SHO has always been on JE 9.0:1 pistons, stock cams I believe, though. As far as the compression goes, the lower you go, you'll be able to make more safe boost. But you will still make more power with more compression. Although, with the risk of detonation.

half-way there, I think.
3.2L Swap here with 9psi (soon to be 14psi intercooled) I went about it differently. I bored my 3.0 block out to 3.2L and then swapped in the complete rotating assembly out of a 3.2L.

If this motor comes apart on me, I will be building an 8.5 to 1 compression motor.
