3.2 or 3.0 how do ya tell the difference

hey everybody, i just picked up a 1993 ATX and i was wondering how do ya know if its a 3.2 or 3.0 for the engine, i have never been able to tell the difference, and what are the specs on them for differences, i owned a 1992 MTX, and never had to know anything about a 3.2

If it's an ATX, it came with the 3.2. It still makes the same peak hp as the 3.0, but it makes a few more lb.ft. of torque.

all autos were 3.2L the 3.0L had 220 hp and 200tq and the 3.2L ahd 220hp and 215tq to make up for driveline losses. The blocks are the same but the 3.2L had a different head i forget which but you can tell by different timing covers and gear and a bunch of things but they are interchangeable between the engines so the onyl real way i know of for the blocks ot be 100% sure since peopel can swap heads and such is to measure the bore.

you can also look to see if there is one serpatine belt, or two belts for the accessories

89-95
KOA is 3.0l
KOB is 3.2l
96-99
KOC is 3.4l
