the heads are shaped different, so youll want to use the 3.0 heads, which have a little bit higher lift on the intake side. the 3.2L has stronger rods and bigger wirst pins, otjher then that i think they are pretty much the same. Oh, iv herd the 3.2L has a little bit more of a stroker cark as well.:thumb:

"stroker cark"???? :oogle:

Dude, how much did you have to drink tonight?

He means stroker Crank...but it's not. Displacement's higher due to increase in cylinder bore size. The intake cam on the 3.0 has .015 more lift, same duration than the 3.2......315 vs. .330 lift. Exhaust cam is the same between both engines. the heads flow the same, although the 3.2 doesn't have a couple of bosses for the 3.0 accessory drive.

Aside from that, they're identical motors.

The only difference between the heads is the mounting boss configuration for the alternator on the front head, the rear heads are identical. The intake cams are different though with the 3.0 cam being more aggressive.
