I just got back from a 20 hour trip. I was doing about 70 in 5th the whole way ... Got 24 MPG . Anyone know what a new , stock 95 MTX is supposed to get ?

Yes, the gauges are very inaccurate. Most people see a slow progression from full to the half-way mark, and then a much quicker drop to empty. I've removed the low fuel bulb on every SHO I've ever owned, since I can usually reliably get 150+ miles after the light has come on, and even then there's still at least a gallon left in the tank when I fill up.Redskull said:while we're (sort of) on the topic, how accurate is the gas gage on the SHO?
